Another day dawns in
the town by the River Vaigai. The festivities are just concluding and people
are preparing for the next harvest. Today is the 26th of August
2015. I am updating the diary at 9:50 AM. Today I am 52 years, 12 weeks and 5
days old. That is 18,993 + 84 + 5 = 19,082 days. Assuming a lifespan of 72
years, I have spent 72.544% of my life now. This is 646 complete moon orbits
and 25 days. In another 4 days, I will complete 647 complete moon orbits.
ATHLETICS SPORTS AND
EVENTS
World Athletic
Championship is underway at Beijing. Winners are being declared in events that
have finished. Junior National Athletics is also underway.
WEATHER CELEBRATIONS
Rains seem to have
let off in this town of Madurai. We had 20 odd days of heat but the weather
continues to be humid.
PERSONAL FRONT WORK
AND LEISURE ACTIVITY
Dropped out of the
top bracket in Upwork and now the jobs are few and far in coming. Yet there is
hope for some of the old clients seem to remember the good work that I did.
WASHING MAC STATUS
Washing day is yet to
arrive...or has it? Mac has crashed again – it seems to need updating daily but
that makes it to crash again. Maybe I should try installing from external disc.
ARTICLE WRITING
BLOGGING
Article writing is
slowing down; I have updated the old number 1 page articles or at least the
majority of them. I need to add more articles to Wikinut, Hubpages and Blogger.
It seems to be tough at the moment. I don’t have InfoLinks or Chitika on
Blogger; got to find the solution fast.
THINGS TO DO

Register
the Aspire E 11 – this is imperative. Check online and also find out how to
remove the bloatware MacAfee.

Check
the delivery of Amazon article – Reorder if necessary. Back scrubbing brush has
not reached yet.

Update
your Wikinut, Hubpages and Blogger articles. Do it in turns – blogger finished
then Hubpages. Write one or two articles for Wikinut too.

ASSESSMENT OF
PROGRESS OF SCIENCE AND HEALTH
Progress seems to be
limited very much and will follow the old Indian value and standards until
things change. On the health technology front, cure for cancer seems to be
“looming large over the horizon” and AIDS too seems to be under control.
However, a new threat has surfaced in the form of Ebola and another deadly
disease.
Smartphones have
become cheaper and most of the budget and mid-range phones have all the
technological marvels pre-installed. You can click and upload pictures to the
internet, you can voice-command your phone. You can conduct video chats
POLITICAL SCENARIO
Political scene seems
to be very unsettling to say the least. Maybe something will happen soon to
settle everything down.
PERSONAL FINANCE
My financial scene is
still very worrisome. Maybe at the end of this season, things will improve.
Bank balance is Rs.117. PayPal sent money Rs.0.00.
PERSONAL HEALTH
My health has
deteriorated. I had the lump of the back for the past month; spent around 1000
rs for that. Now it is under control.

ONLINE GAMES
Playing at Miniclip
on the Acer is tough. It sometimes is tough on the Mac too. I have stopped
playing cards; have started chess. It keeps the mind alert.
LEISURE
Watching television
seems to be a tedious affair these days. Given the mood of violence and
distrust that permeates the air, one must be better off not watching the tripe
they dish out through the media.
Newspapers too have
gone the money way and the pages are filled with ads, ads and nothing but ads.
PERSONAL AMBITION AND
GOALS
My Redmi 2 is about a
month old. That is it arrived sometime between July 23rd and July 25th.
The other phone is going strong.
